Huawei has developed a new tablet, that should also be available soon in Europe. The new Media Pad 7 Lite is the successor to the MediaPad 10FHD and has a recommended price of €249 (£200).
The Media Pad 7 Lite features a 7-inch IPS panel with a 1024x600 pixel resolution. The device is sized 193 x 120 x 11 millimetres and weighs about 370 grams. Beneath the capacitive screen, a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor is present. The tablet also features 1 GB of memory, 8 GB of storage capacity, a micro-USB connector, micro-SD card slot, 3.2 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 0.3 megapixel camera on the front. Network connectivity includes 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and HSDPA 3G. Huawei has installed a 4100 mAh battery and the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
The tablet is expected to be released next month.
